I have played around with different ideas of anchorage text to use, in order to attract around a 12 year old who is starting secondary school, by using 'special edition' it exaggerates the fact it is specialised for those 'starting school.' I have highlighted 'special' in black as a splash colour, so it stands out from all other writing on the page allowing the readers to feel this is an important issue and not one to miss out on.
I have also decided on 'Top 10 homework tips' as one of my main articles and one of the main uses of anchorage text. I believe this is a good topic to focus on as those starting secondary school may want the best start possible and need all the advise they can get, for the big step up from Primary to Secondary.

Another big part of starting a new school would be making new friends, this is a big part of school for everyone. Therefore making a popularity/ best friend test may allow pupils to become interested on how to make as many new friends as possible.
