When looking back on my research and planning before the production of my final product began. I found my audience profiling work, looking at gender ratio, age ranges etc. This were all an attempt to create a reader profile and establish my target audience.
The most popular age range consisted of the younger generation from the age of 16-25 years old, so this meant that although older generations are targeted I should focus my work ethic towards attracting those of a younger age, this may mean adding more splashes of colour and less formal language.
I also planned my gender ratio to show if I needed to have more of a male or female vibe.
The ratio showed a male audience dominance of 70%, by working this out then aloud me to think wisely as to how I produced my magazine attract a male audience, but then allowing some female elements.
